backflow installation & certification

A backflow prevention device is used to protect water supplies from contamination.  Water is typically pressured to flow in a certain direction.  When this pressure fails or is reduced in situations like a line break or high demand on the system contaminated water will then be allowed to enter the system.  If a backflow preventer is installed it will aid in the prevention of this occurrence.

Municipalities require a backflow prevention device in Broward, Palm Beach and Dade counties to be tested annually.  Upon notification that your backflow certification is up for renewal please fax all paperwork to our office at 954-941-3362.  Once our office receives it we will schedule a technician to come out and test your backflow prevention device.  After testing a city official will come to your property for final inspection.  Typically the process takes between two and three weeks.

Additionally domestic (potable water) and irrigation backflow installation is also available.  Please contact an associate from our office for details.
